Let me get one thing straight here. I hate sea food. Hate it. Bleurgh!
So, I was thrilled the other day when Terry came home from the supermarket with a large squid. Woot!
But I decided that some of you dirty buggers out there might like a bit of the ole tenticle goodness so I’ll tell you what he did with it.
You can buy squid pre-prepared or you can sort it out yourself like Terry did. I’m not going to go in to detail of how to prepare a squid because, quite frankly, it’s rank. Here is someone else who’s willing to show you.
You will need to score the main section so that as it cooks it tenderizes properly.
After he scored it all, Terry sliced the squid into bite sizes pieces and lightly fried it with oil and garlic. I have to admit, it did actually smell nice while it cooked.
Now, this is the difficult bit. Terry made himself some spicy packet noodles. You know, like supernoodles. The ones that come with a powdered packet of flavour. Yep, technical shiz!
He put the squid in with the noodles and sprinkled some sliced birdseye chilli over the top.
If you don’t have spicy noodles, just add chilli powder to them while they boil.
And there you have it. Terrys spicy squid with oodles of noodles.
